Today I could not believe how much it snowed. It snowed and snowed all day. I looked out the window and everything was white even the street as you can see. I feel like I live at the top of a mountain. We all got dressed warm and went sledding. It was so much fun. Now I have to learn how to drive in this. I am really nervous about that. Oh the things a Vegas girl is learning in Michigan.
Good times.

On Saturday we went to a tree farm to choose and cut down our own tree. It was sooooooo cold, we have never been so cold. We could hardly stand it so we enden up going to Home Depot and buying a real tree there.

Thanksgiving day was great! Up top is our kids and Brians kids. They had a great time together. The bottom picture is Ellie, Adam and Rachel having a little tea party..... so cute.

As you can see Adam is feeling much better. He had a good night. I can still here it in his chest and he still has a little cough but he is running around today happy as ever. Oh thank goodness for doctors. Now today Marky has it so we have to go to the doctor at 1:00. I'm sure Ellie is next. Why do they always have to give it to each other. Oh the joys of motherhood. They are so sweet when they are sick though. They just let you hold them and love them up, I love that part of it. Hopefully they will all be better by Thanksgiving.

Marky had a great birthday this year. I was a little worried because birthdays are such a big deal to him. He talks about them all year. About 10 kids came. His whole primary class and a few neighbor kids. Thank you everyone for thinking of him. The phone calls and packages ment so much to him. I cant believe my baby is 6.

Hello, We are starting a family blog to keep you all updated on whats going on here in Michigan. We are all doing well. We like it here and are making lots of friends. The weather is getting really cold. I keep telling people it cant possibly get colder than this, they just look and me and laugh and say you have no idea what cold is. I'm afraid they are right. When I bring Marky to the bus stop we are all bundled up with hats, gloves and big coats. I look around and everyone else just has on a light sweater. They are crazy here, cold is cold. I'm afraid I look like the crazy one to them though. They wonder why we are all bundled up when this is not cold to them at all. It has been about 40 degrees. Anyway I am trying to be tough and blend in. Mark is doing really well in school. I am really proud of him. He has been really disciplined and studies so much. Finals are coming up and his professor told the class it is now time to divorce your families. All your time must be spent studying. SCARY! He will do well, hes really dedicated. The Lord has blessed us so much. We know this is where we are suppose to be. We know it more and more everyday. We are all so excited to come home. We miss everyone so much. It will be so fun to see you all again.

Poor Adam is so sick

Last night Adam woke up so sick. I was up all night with him. I just held him and he whined and cried mommy hurt as he pointed to his throat. Luckily the next morning I had doctor appointments already set up for all the kids. ( to meet their new pediatrician and have well checks) Sure enough when we got there he had the croup really bad. He threw up 2 times in her office. She said if he doesn't keep things down today we would have to bring him to the hospital tonight and hook him up to IV's. Mark gave him a blessing. Luckily today he has not thrown up again. He is already acting like he feels much better. He is so sweet it is so sad to see him like that. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this goes away and we wont have to make any trips to the emergency room.
