Hello! We miss you all so much!

Hey there everyone. We are doing really good here in Michigan. Mark has been teaching almost everyday and liking it I think. The kids surely love him and tell him you are the best teacher we have ever had. They hug him and beg him to come back. I always knew he would be a good teacher he is so patient and fun.

It is really cold here. We are just trying to live throuh the winter. I never really feel warm anymore.

The kids are doing great... playing, laughing and sledding alot.

We love you all and miss you so much!

Detroit Auto Show

We went to the Auto Show this week. We met Marks cousin Brad there. He lives in Canada just 15 min. from the show. It was fun seeing him. The show was really fun. The kids had a great time seeing all the new cars and playing in them. They all had bags and collected brochures everywhere they could. They had a blast.

The "SUN"

Gotta love a sunny day. When the sun is out we are out. The snow is getting higher and the kids are loving it. They love to make snow forts and go sledding. Im thinking around May we will start to thaw out.

Sweet little Adam!

How has my baby gotten so big. He is such a sweet boy. He is so smart. He loves learning. His favorite thing to do is play with letters. He knows them all and all their sounds. He knows how to write most of them and is even learning how to read a little. He is amazing to me, and he is only 3. He has the sweetest nature and that has never changed on bit. Just calm and sweet. We are so lucky to have him in our family.

Marky Mark

Marky is getting so big. I still cant believe he is going to be baptised this year. He is doing really good in school and has lots of Friends. Little John Thompson and him talked on the phone last night and it was the cutest thing. They were talking and laughing and planning sleepovers for when we move home. I cant wait to get the cousins back together. He missed them so much. I'm glad he has so many cousins his age to grow up with.

Ellies new dress

I found this dress for Ellie for $6. I thought she looked so cute in it. She was so excited to go to church and show her teacher. She was also excited to show her dad her new dress. Of course he thought she was beautiful.

Ellies off to her friends "Princess Bowling Party" She had the best time bowling in her dress.

Playtime

Ellie and Adam love to sing, dance and play in the basement. They were having a great time.

No pictures please... ya right

Ellie loves the camera, and loves to dress up and pose. She is so cute and full of spunk.

How can they stand it.... their kids.

This picture is taken from my front door, another cold day. Marky likes to eat the snow. All we need in some snow cone syrup. And Ellie is cleaning up. A girl after my own heart.

New Years Eve

New Years Eve was really fun. The Stake had a big party at the church for all the families. So we went. We danced and had a great time. The kids loves staying up late. I don't think they would ever go to bed if we didn't make them. Later that night some friends came over and we played games and rang in the new year. 2009 is going to be great!

Christmas 2008

It was our first Christmas without family in Michigan. I planned a lot of things so I wouldn't get homesick. We went Christmas Caroling with some friends the FHE before Christmas which was so much fun. Christmas Eve we spent with some close friends. It was very nice. Christmas morning was wonderful! The kids were so excited and came running down the stairs to see if Santa gave them a bell from his sleigh for being so good. Of course he did. We had a great day. They loved everything. We had taken them one at a time to the dollar store to shop for each other. The gifts they gave each other were what they were the most excited about. They would say you are going to love what I got you. Everyone was very grateful. It was a great day. Very peaceful. Our first "White Christmas" It was a beautiful day. Later that night we had some friends over for dinner. We did the gift exchange game and did the nativity and watched the nativity video. I loved the whole day. Very simple and peaceful. Lots of the family called me and that meant alot to know they were thinking of us. Our Christmas in Michigan was wonderful!
