This is the Kidshine Performance. The kids were so cute, and so excited to sing for their families. Its not on here but we started out with a few scales and echo songs that turned out good. This was the first big song I taught them. The Bear Necessities.

This was our last song "Lift Up Your Voice and Sing" The kids also had little speaking parts. It turned out well. They are all such cute kids, and love singing. I am so glad I got the chance to do this.

Hi everyone from Michigan! We miss you.
Well here we are again, alive and well in Michigan. I cant believe we have been here 6 months allready. The time is going by so quickly. We will be home before you know it. This has been a good month. Mark is in his second semester and is doing very well. We are all so proud of him. We are all involved in alot of different things with the ward and community. Our lives have been busy. The picture on top is of Mark and the kids. We took the kids on a toboggan run. It was really fun and really cold. They loved it. Mark and Marky did it over and over again. Ellie and Adam wanted to sit in by the fire and watch out the window after going twice, but at least they did that.
A lady in our ward does a free dance class for the children in the ward. They go to the gym at the church and love it so much. Ellie and Adam are in it. Marky is at school at that time. Our ward does diffrent little activities like that to get the kids out of the house in the winter. We have a great ward, we love it.
Ellie gets all dressed up each week in her dance clothes and brings her dance purse with her dance shoes. She is always so excited to go. Her two little girlfriends are in it with her, they have the best time. Adam is the only boy but doesent mind one bit.
What a cute, sweet boy. I cant help it he is just such a precious little boy. We love Adam so much!
I got Ellie a few new little dresses at a second hand store. Can you believe this is second hand. It actually still had the tags on it. It was only a few bucks. She was so happy to put it on and go to church. She wanted to show her teacher and her dad. Of course they all thought she was beautiful. She was twirling around all day.

The kids found the snowman kit Robin gave us for Christmas and dressed up like snowmen.
Adam dressed up in Markys fireman costume. Such a big boy!
Marky started basketball today. It is called the Little Dribblers. His friend Franky on our street is in it too. They had the best time playing. The last 30 minutes they played a game. We were all there cheering them on. He was so proud of himself.
Me and Mark in our backyard today. We were all outside playing in the snow and sledding. The kids love to play in the snow. Mark carved I love Amy in the snow... what a guy! So when I look out the kitchen window I can see it. Cute hu. Check out this video of the kids playing in the snow today.

His letter and treat to Santa.
We had the best Christmas and Grandma and Grandpa Ewell's house. It was so much fun to come home for Christmas and stay with them. Marky had the best day, he loved all of his pirate stuff.
Ellie was so sick that day. She was a little trooper though and tried to smile for a picture. She got all the girly stuff. After she felt better she was so happy about all her presents.
This is really how Ellie was feeling. It was so sad she was so sick the whole day. Didnt even get to enjoy Christmas. We had to have a bowl by her the whole day.

Adam was just happy playing with his camera.

This is the fireman costume Grandma and Grandpa Johnson got Marky for Christmas. He loved it of course. He loves to dress up more than anything. They watched his open in on web cam.
They got Ellie the whole princess shoes collection. She was freaking out. She wares them everyday. You could not get her a more perfect gift. Thanks grandma and grandpa Johnson, you're the best!

Adam got bath toys which he totally loves, or should I say they all love.
Not a very good picture but this is Ellie and Adam on the airplane flying to Vegas. They loved the plane ride. They had their backpacks packed and were good to go.

Mark built a fort for the kids to play in. After a big snowstorm there was plenty of snow for it. This was in December.

Adam liked it too.

This weeks events
Well this has been a very eventful week. Ellie decided she didn't like her bangs again so she found the only scissors left in the house and cut them off. I cannot believe she actually did it again. I really didn't think she would. She really has something against bangs. I had to send her to her room, call mom and regroup. I have had a lot of talks with her so I really hope it sank in this time. Don't expect much when you see her hair at Christmas.

Marky lost his first tooth. That was very exciting. He went to bed so early so the tooth fairy could come. He is so excited to go to Las Vegas and show everyone the whole in his mouth.
I had a great birthday. Thank you Kelly and Kathy for the scarfs and warm clothes. I will use them for sure. Thank you everyone for your calls and gifts. I am so excited about all my Southwest gift cards what a cool gift. I am so grateful to you all and love you so much. Mark came home a little early on Friday night and gave me the night off and a little money to go shopping. That was fun. When I got home he gave me a massage. We went out on Saturday night which was really fun. Sunday morning he made me my favorite breakfast and Sunday night my friend in the ward had us over with our other friends and cooked us dinner. Mark made my favorite cake. He has also been doing the 12 days of Amy. Every morning I wake up and there is a little something under the tree for me. First day a certificate for a massage from him, Second day a pineapple (my favorite). Just cute thoughtful things like that. How lucky am I. He is so cute. So it has been my birthday all weekend. Its been a good birthday.

Today I could not believe how much it snowed. It snowed and snowed all day. I looked out the window and everything was white even the street as you can see. I feel like I live at the top of a mountain. We all got dressed warm and went sledding. It was so much fun. Now I have to learn how to drive in this. I am really nervous about that. Oh the things a Vegas girl is learning in Michigan.
